“Rise, But in a Memorable Way”
Ali Rez, Chief Creative Officer, Impact BBDO Group MENAP
More than a hundred years ago, Kafka gave the world one of the most important lessons in creativity: when you rise, do it in a way that nobody will forget. Ever. While we remain in a state of constant communications metamorphosis, that fundamental rule still applies to all effective creativity. Be remembered or vanish. Using real case examples of how creativity stands the test of time, Ali Rez will take you through a journey of creating work that is impossible to ignore.
Ali Rez is the most awarded creative leader in the Middle East and currently leads output for the IMPACT BBDO Group across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan region. His work has been instrumental in Impact BBDO Dubai being named the No.2 Creative Agency in The World in the WARC report, while winning 10 different Agency of the Year awards in 2022. Among more than 700 international accolades in his career spanning four continents is a United Nations Peace Medal. Those awards have led him to be ranked No.1 ECD in MENA and APAC in many rankings and named Creative of the Year twice by Campaign magazine.
ADFEST is a non-profit-making entity that believes passionately in its role to nurture and support the creative industry in the Asia Pacific and MENA region. It is one of only 8 regional creative festivals included in the WARC Creative 100 Rankings.
